Great Eastern, the largest ship ever constructed at the time. Difficulties developed in launching the ship. The Tangye brothers offered assistance & launched the ship by utilising powerful hydraulic jacks. Hence the statement “Tangye Launched the Great Eastern and the Great Eastern Launched Tangye”.
